Rebecca Smith covers Criminal, Family, Civil and Prison Law, specialising in actions brought by the police. 

Rebecca also worked for a registered charity based in London named Amicus for a period of 6 months. Whilst working for the charity, she was based in Oaklahoma USA, where her worked consisted of the preparation and writing of amicus curiae briefs and trial preparation for Defendants facing the death penalty.  She conducted research into the human rights act of the USA in comparison to that of the UK and other countries. This work was carried out under an Amicus Scholarship and The Human Rights Award. 

Miss Smith enjoys a mixed practice in all Courts throughout the North Eastern Circuit.  She regularly attends the Magistrates Court for both the Defence and Prosecution and has acted in the Crown Court. 

Rebecca is developing her civil practice and has also attended at local prisons to represent Defendants at parole board and disciplinary hearings. 

Miss Smith is also accredited to deal with Proceeds of Crime Act cases and a member of the Criminal Bar Association.

Rebecca E. Smith is a member of the North Eastern Circuit.
